Spring Egg Hunt

The City of Cleveland Heights will hold the Annual Spring Egg Hunt for children ages 1 to 9 will be held Saturday, April 13 at 10 a.m. (SHARP!) in the Forest Hill Park Meadow (near the playground). The event is Free! Children should wear old clothes and boots (in case of inclement weather) and must bring their own bags or egg baskets. Registration deadline is April 12. Please bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the Heights Emergency Food Center. To register, please call 216-691-7373. (Please note that if the weather is sever the day of the hunts, the program may be moved to the Forest Hill Tennis Courts or move inside the Community Center. American Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives at the Community Center. Special Type O&B Drives are scheduled here at our Community Center in our South Atrium. Please mark your calendars. Give Blood - The Gift of Life. Walk-ins are welcome or call 800-REDCROSS (800-733-2767) for availability.

Time: 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the South Atrium

11th Annual Earth Day Run

Runners and walkers, the City of Cleveland Heights will sponsor a 5K Run/Walk on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. The 5K run (3.1 mile) will start at 7:00 p.m. (Rain or Shine - no Rain Date). This event is a fund raiser for the Youth Recreation Fund. The route is completely in Forest Hill Park using East Cleveland and Cleveland Heights path within the park. The entry fee is $18 Pre-Registration and $22 Day of the Race (cash and checks only). The mail-in registration deadline is Monday, April 22. Preregistration: Checks are made out to HMA Promotions. Forest Hill Park Nature Walks

Forest Hill Park is a gem in our own back yard. Come and explore the park with a naturalist from the North Chagrin Metro Park with a guided tour.  Sunday, June 9 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. & Thursday, August 22 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
