Community Center
Yes. The fees help to cover the costs of the programs. Priority is given to residents of Cleveland Heights. Fees are generally differentiated between residents and nonresidents. Please refer to the the specific class, program or league that interests you to see the specific fee.

You qualify for a membership to the Community Center if:
- You live in Cleveland Heights
- You own a business in Cleveland Heights
- You work in Cleveland Heights (must provide proof)
If you own property in Cleveland Heights, but do not live here, you do not qualify for a Community Center membership.

Community Center
Cleveland Heights residents have the priority use of our parks and facilities. Nonresidents have limited access. Residents can bring guests, but the number is limited and depends on the facility and usage. Our Community Center was built and is supported by taxes paid by residents and is primarily for use by residents. Some programs are open to the nonresidents as well, with a higher rate structure.

The taxes cover the cost of paying for the facilities and their upkeep. The fees are necessary to cover program costs (staff, materials, etc.).

The City facilities are supported by income taxes and tax levy payments by Cleveland Heights residents only. The property taxes support the school system and not the individual cities of Cleveland Heights or University Heights.

The Community Center has one ice rink, one roller rink, a gym, a fitness center and indoor four-lane track Senior Activity Center, meeting rooms and rental spaces, all purpose pathway, grass recreation area and a nearby nature trail.

Both the Community Center and City Hall are closed on all legal holidays and union mandated holiday observance days, to reduce staff and utility costs. This has enabled the City, along with program and staffing cuts, to keep the facilities open as much as possible, to best serve our patrons.

To see a complete offering of programs, please browse our website. Registration for programming takes place at the Community Center or online. Some programs will allow you to register over the phone with a VISA or MasterCard if you are already in our database. Some programs may require you to register in person.

The Cleveland Heights Community Center is located at 1 Monticello Boulevard on the corner of Monticello and Mayfield Road. The Main entrance is off of Monticello Boulevard.
